This highway of 13.4 kilometers away is very important for local tourism, as this stretch improves access to the beaches Langosta, Tamarindo, Avellanas, and the Leatherback Marine National Park.
The construction company was awarded Raasa to perform work in an amount of $ 4.387 million. This company has as of today seven months to complete the work.
The work consists of changing the dirt surface to asphalt, construction of sidewalks and the replacement of five bridges.
Laura Chinchilla highlighted the importance of this project because it will push local tourism and development.
